BHP Architects has been working with Essex County Council carrying out a study into the use of pre-fabricated buildings for Primary Schools. As part of this study Essex commissioned a "pilot" scheme to design and procure several class bases and halls at a number of Primary Schools

All buildings are manufactured in the factory using highly sustainable building materials and techniques, foundations by mini piles or pads and all site works are carried out whilst the building is in manufacture. The time spent on site is therefore considerably less than with traditional construction
